Carl Melendez
Carmelo “Carl” Melendez, an automotive re-stylist for over twenty-five years, focuses his business on meeting the needs of automotive enthusiasts across the country. Beginning his career in Brooklyn, learning the art of tint, stereo system installation and alarm systems he perfected his skills. Always wanting to learn more and adapt with the changing automotive trends, he is continuously researching and educating himself.
Committed to staying on the cutting edge of the automotive customization industry, Carl earned himself a vast list of industry certifications. Carl shares his knowledge and expertise from his many years of installation by continuously educating others. Most recently, Carl was recognized by PPF Mag at the 2018 SEMA Automotive Show for his technique and being the Northeast Leading Vendor.
His work is reflected in the long-term relationships he has built with dealerships like Porsche, Mercedes Benz, McClaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari and industry leading companies like Suntek-An Eastman Company. Many of whom seek out Carl as a resource to host training as well as pilot programs for new materials and marketing.
His attention to detail is unmatched. Carl visually inspects every vehicle before it leaves his shop. 631 Coatings will only continue to grow due to Carl’s passion, drive, and dedication to the world of automotive restyling.
Lahna Finstad
Lahna Finstad is the newest addition to the 631 Coatings family. Lahna is the business manager at 631 Coatings. She is often the voice on the phone when making appointments and greets you when you come to visit. Lahna seeks innovative ways to streamline procedures around the shop to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Although she does not have an extensive background in the automotive industry she quickly gained knowledge and fundamentals needed for success around the shop. Her experience in small business bookkeeping, organization and office management skills is an asset to 631 Coatings. Afterall, customer recommendation and repeat business is the best referral.
